So iv been catching up on series3 of Toddlers&Tiaras and although the little girls/boys look beautiful and 99% of them look really happy, I'm still not sure if id actually let my child do pageants.
The amount of stress the parents go through just to get their child ready for a pageant is overwhelming.
They cake their faces in make-up, Dress them up like little dolls and then shove them on stage to pose.
These children should truly be at home playing with toys and doing everything else that children do!

But i guess if the child is 100% happy with their pageant life then why not.
Some parents have even spiked their child's drink with something called 'Pageant Crack' or 'Go-Go Juice' which i think is truly shocking!
This is just to boost the child's performance on stage.

Other parents go the whole 9 yards and decide that the child needs facials, Nail extensions and eyelash tints etc.
What does this say to the child. That your not beautiful enough? I know how i would feel if my parents pushed me in to something like that.
So what's your opinion on this? Would you ever let your child go in to pageants?
